January Adult Troop Committee Meeting - January 2 @ 7pm

Posted on Dec 29 2016 - 11:07pm

We’ll meet on Monday, January 2nd at 7 pm at TBC so that we can properly plan for our Winter Merit Badge Camp, which will be held January 13-15.  We can also get a head start on planning for our February campout at Mr. Raney’s Ranch, and our March Camporee competition.

If you’d like, bring your leftover holiday cookies or desserts to share with everyone else at the January 2nd meeting.  We’ll make it one last holiday party!

In the meantime, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Merit Badge Workshops at the Perot Museum

Posted on Dec 15 2016 - 8:27pm
Merit badge workshops at the Perot Museum have a lot in common with Philmont Scout Ranch — they both prove that challenging yourself and working hard can open your eyes to some of the most inspiring and amazing adventures on earth! By the end of each workshop, Boy Scouts should have completed all the requirements for that badge. But remember — merit badges are earned, not given!
