Patrol food cost adjustment: New amount will be $20 (Cash to the Patrol Leader on Money Mondays)

Posted on Dec 5 2024 - 5:13pm

As you know, when the troop goes camping, each scout in each patrol contributes money towards the food that the grubmaster purchases for that patrol to prepare/eat during the campout.  That amount has been set at $15 for many years.  As you also know, we have recently experienced grocery price inflation.  The scouts have asked to increase the amount of money to be contributed for each campout to $20 per scout.  Everything else in the process will remain the same (i.e. the $20 will still need to be in cash [not check/venmo/paypal] and will be given to the Patrol Leader at the Money Monday meeting, preceding the campout/event).

Troop SWAG! The winter swag store is open until Dec 2nd.

Posted on Nov 27 2024 - 9:19pm

The T1001 Winter Swag Store is now open until December 2nd! Order now to take advantage of the two new items: a hoodie and a leather patch hat. This is also your last chance to purchase closeout items before they're all gone. The goal is to clean out the storage benches before the Troop moves. While supplies last! Thanks for supporting the Troop!

Membership renewal and Magazine information

Posted on Nov 27 2024 - 9:19pm
Two important reminders about membership renewals

***If you and/or your scout have a 12/31 membership expiration (as does most of the troop)**

1) If you already paid the Troop to renew your membership, we will renew your membership with BSA for you.  We've provided this service for our members for years and BSA recently made changes that generated emails to many of our members to renew it themselves.

2) For Scout Life memberships - If your scout has a 12/31 renewal date AND wants to receive the monthly Scout Life Magazine in 2025, please pay $15.00 to the troop and send an email to jill@teagardenfamily.com
