TROOP MEETING THIS MONDAY (8/11) @ 7PM

Come and see our new set up for yourselves at our first meeting on Monday 8/11. The adult meeting will run at the same time as the boys and include a tour of the new facilities.

 

**Parking area is circled and right by the entrance. Greeters will help direct scouts and adults to the new HQ!**

GDX Event

Our program year will kick off with an overnight lock-in at Group Dynamix (GDX) for some team building fun. This event will be a blast, so Scouts won't want to miss it! Check out GDX's location and features here.

Ropes courses, games, challenges and late-night pizza! $55 per Scout covers the all-night program & pizza/snacks (bring your own drink/waterbottle)

When:  Saturday, Aug 9th 9:00 PM - Sunday Aug 10th, 7:00 AM

Where:  Group Dynamix, 1100 Venture Court, Suite 120 Carrollton, TX 75006

What to Bring:

  • Signed permission slip (include medications if needed on the 2nd page of permission slip)
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks or Extra cash for vending machine (optional)

What to Wear:

  • Activity uniform (Class B)
  • Closed-toed shoes

Adults are welcome and encouraged to attend this event. - We need at least 4 to stay.  *There will NOT be a parent meeting. *

All the fun will conclude at 7:00am sharp on Sunday morning. Parents should arrive promptly to scrape up their scouts and allow the leaders to go home and recover from the night.

  • Each participant will need to complete the online GDX waiver and bring the Troop's permission slip like usual
  • For Scouts, the GDX waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian along with a Troop Permission Form.

Free Youth Heart Screening 7/26/25

Living for Zachary Heart Screening is a screening program for youth ages 12-22 that can help detect heart abnormalities that may lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).  Schedule your screening here

This screening is so important for our youth as these heart conditions so often occur when they are most active. There is no charge for the screening.
