Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the World Merit Badges

Follow up sessions from June will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 2:00 for Citizenship in the Nation and 3:00 p.m. for Citizenship in the World. Bring your workbook and any proof needed (photos, event programs, etc.) with you to the meeting.

GDX Lock-in August 9 from 8PM to 8AM (Parent meeting @ about 8:15PM)

Our program year will kick off with an overnight lock-in at Group Dynamix (GDX) for some team building fun. This event will be a blast, so Scouts won't want to miss it! Check out GDX's location and features here.

Parents/Guardians: There will be a mandatory 30-45 minute meeting starting at about 8:15PM, during which we will discuss our upcoming Scouting year. We ask that at least one adult per family attend this meeting, but all are welcome!

When:  Friday, Aug 9th 8:00 PM - Saturday, Aug 10th, 8:00 AM

Where:  Group Dynamix, 1100 Venture Court, Suite 120 Carrollton, TX 75006

What to Bring:

  • Signed permission slip (include medications if needed on the 2nd page of permission slip)
  • Water bottle

What to Wear:

  • Activity uniform (Class B)
  • Closed-toed shoes

A late night snack of pizza will be served.

All adults are welcome and encouraged to attend this event.

SUMMER MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITY - Citizenship in the Nation & Citizenship in the World

LeAnn Weigel will be offering the Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the World merit badges this summer.  This is an excellent opportunity for scouts to spend summer time earning two Eagle required merit badges.
