As of the meeting this past Monday 9/30, there was one “Scout spot” open for the 2020 Philmont Cavalcade. If your scout is interested, please contact Mr. Reisinger.  

Taking place November 15 – 17

November sees us camping at Purtis State Park and zip lining at New York Zip in Larue, Texas. Take a look at the awesome photos on their website: http://www.goziptexas.com/. Registration is open with a $70 per person cost to zip line (adults pay to zip line too). Activities will be planned for those not interested in zip lining.

Taking place October 25 - 27

The October campout is now camping at Chickasaw National Recreation Buckhorn Loop C instead of Raney’s Ranch (moved to April).  Don’t forget to register by 6 p.m., Money Monday, October 21 to  avoid the waiting list. Registration is open, permission slip is posted, bring $15 to your patrol leader for food. Adults, please remember to include the number of open seat belts when you register.

Calling all Scouts, Scouters and Parents/Guardians! Fall weather and the holiday season will be here soon. TBC needs your help with maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks, including electrical and painting around the building. There will be plenty of projects for the skilled and unskilled alike.
