GDX Reminders

It's almost time for the Troop 1001 lock-in at GDX! Read below for items needed to attend.

 

Each participant will need to complete the online waiver (or in the case of minors, the waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian): https://groupdynamix.com/waiver/.

Each participant will also need to print and fill out the Troop 1001 permission slip attached below and bring it to GDX.

 

We will also have a parent meeting at 7 PM that will be full of information for the upcoming year, please join us!

Congratulations to Edwin Hassler for earning his Eagle Scout Rank! He is number 206 on the Troop's Eagle Honor Roll. A huge THANK YOU to Mike Reisinger, Brian Bascom, Paul Howard, Dennis Weigel (our District Representative...who was there virtually), Lisa Bascom, and Trey Otte for serving on Edwin's Eagle Board of Review committee!

Troop 1001 awards its 205th Eagle Scout Rank to John Henry Zolton

Congratulations to John Henry for earning his Eagle Scout Rank! He is number 205 on the Troop's Eagle Honor Roll. Josh Fuld Eagle Project: June 20, 21 and 22

We will be building Planter Boxes for St. Jude Center, which is a Transitional housing facility in Dallas.

June 20th, we will be staining wood

June 21st and 22nd, we will be building the Planter boxes.  We need 9 scouts and 3 adults for each day.  We will be using power tools (Screw Guns, Mitre Saw and Table Saw).  If you have an extra screw gun and/or eyewear, please comment in the sign up genius, so that we can plan appropriately.
