Posted on Jan 14 2021 - 10:35pm

There will be a lost and found table at winter camp this weekend. If any scouts are missing items from summer camp or even the campout last February, they should stop by the table. We have 3 pairs of scout shorts, 1 pair of regular shorts, 1 swim top, 2 jackets and some shoes and socks.

Troop 1001 SWAG - Get your orders in!

Posted on Jan 14 2021 - 10:34pm

Stephanie Molina has taken over from Ms. Bascom managing the Troop 1001 clothes closet and swag inventory.  Order forms for all of the items including new fleece jackets have been added to the Files section of the Troop 1001 website here - https://www.troop1001.org/taxonomy/term/1258

In addition to new troop merchandise, Stephanie maintains the clothes closet.  Since current COVID precautions restrict general access to the scout room, people can bring clothes their boys have outgrown and Stephanie will add it to the inventory. If boys are looking for some gently used items, she can bring the requested items to the meeting.  The current inventory is maintained available in a downloadable PDF in the files sections linked above.

Jake Adams Eagle Scout Project - January 2 and 9

Posted on Jan 7 2021 - 7:50pm
Hey Troop,

I’m excited to be planning and working on my eagle project.  We will be building a wooden lost and found organizer and delivering it to Mohawk Elementary.  I went to Mohawk for elementary school and there is a need for them to organize their lost and found items.  Principal Newman is really excited for this.  I would be grateful for anyone who could help me on January 2 and January 9.

When:  Saturday, January 2nd & 9th, 10:30am-2:30pm (pizza will be provided)
Where: 1215 Huntington Drive, Richardson, Texas 75080, in my garage

If you would like to help or if you have any questions, you can text me at 214-662-5314 or email me at jake.allen.adams@gmail.com.

Thanks,
Jake Adams
