Troop 1001 Volunteer Sign Up for Alliance Air Show

Gain some service hours by volunteering at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport Airshow which will be conducted this year as a drive-in. Each volunteer will receive a t-shirt as well as a BBQ sandwich, chips and water in exchange for your help with parking lot directional guidance. If you're younger than 9th grade, your parent will need to be present. You would need to arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins please.

The 30th Anniversary of the Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show, has evolved into North Texas’ first drive-in air show experience. There won't be any money exchanging or collection as all parking tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis-- none sold onsite.

Adults attending our many varied activities this strange Scout Year who are photo-inclined please take a few good photos of our Boys in action and upload to troop1001.shutterfly.com. You'll enjoy seeing these in Court of Honor slide shows, the Troop Handbook, our website, etc. It's fun to see how fast they grow up.

Hello Troop 1001,

 

I have been working on earning the rank of Eagle Scout for several years now, and I am excited to be very close to completion. I am proud to announce that my project will be an educational outdoor sign located in heights park, benefiting the city of Richardson. The sign will add value to the park by providing information and pictures of local plants and trees that can be found while exploring the creek / woods area. 
Phase one of my project (designing the informational layout of the sign) will begin this Sunday, October 12 and I would appreciate anyone who is willing to help.
