Troop 1001 Scouts & Parents,

"Flags In" fund raising event for Independence Day is this coming Saturday morning, July 7.  Please follow the Sign-Up Genius link below to sign up to participate.

Volunteers will gather at Trinity Bible Church at 8:30 am to get organized, receive route assignments.  Bottled water will be provided to help keep everyone hydrated during the event. The flag installation is usually completed within 2 1/2 to 3 hours and we will meet to wrap up the event with some ice cream.

The individual 2018-2019 patrols are responsible for filling the assigned volunteer spots and patrol leaders are asked to make sure their patrol's slots are filled.  Scouts sign up under their new patrol leader. If you do not know who your new patrol leader is please check the Troop 1001 roster on the website.  Please note, scouts should wear their Class B uniforms.

Scouts may be able to receive credit for community and/or school volunteer service hours for the time spent on this activity.

Adults can sign up to drive for their scout's patrol or under the Freebird (adult) patrol.  Parent drivers, the flag poles are long but if you have a pick-up truck, a van or a mid-size or larger hatchback/SUV, please volunteer to drive if you can.  Thanks!

If you cannot sign up on line, you can contact me at tim.fooshee@att.net.
