Thanks for Helping at Cottonwood!

Dear Troop 1001 scouts and families,

It was a pleasure to work with you all at the Spring 2018 Cottonwood Art Festival fundraiser. The City of Richardson, visiting artists, and police and security personnel were extremely appreciative and complimentary of our service. It makes us very proud to see the young men of our troop establish their place in the fabric of our community through opportunities such as the Cottonwood fundraiser.

We logged 468.4 volunteer hours by boys, and 621.6 hours by adults. Wow!!! Water sales and tips generated through load-in/load-out activities were strong.. The record of service hours and hours for advancement has been forwarded to Jim Philips.  Please contact us if you find any discrepancy and we can re-check the logs, as needed.

Mark your calendars now for next Cottonwood event, October 6 & 7 2018, with set-up beginning on the 4th. Hopefully, we'll experience another gorgeous and profitable weekend at that time.

We appreciate the dedication and the positive spirit of service you bring to the troop in this huge fundraising effort. See you again in the fall.

Sincerely,
Tim and Carol Ozlowski
